Matthew Ackroyd is a director and senior land development consultant at Swanson Surveying. With over 15 years of experience in the surveying and land development sectors, Matthew provides high-level strategic and consulting advice to a diverse range of clients. These includes multiple government agencies, Local Authorities, Municipalities, and the private sector, where he has successfully managed projects spanning greenfield and brownfield estates, as well as large-scale, mixed-use building subdivisions & construction projects.
Matthew’s extensive experience in the construction sector is highlighted by his involvement in several high-profile projects, including Stages 4 & 5 of the Geelong Stadium upgrade, Stage 1 & 2 of the Geelong Arts Centre, the current Geelong Convention Centre project and multiple hospital projects (Geelong & Ballarat base hospitals, and St John of God, Geelong). He is also proficient in laser scanning and 3D modelling, having applied these skills in the oil and gas industry to deliver precise and reliable data for complex projects.
